About

After 4 vagabond years roaming the wilds of Russia and Central Asia and then an extended stint in graduate school, I settled into a career as a primary care nurse practitioner.
I write before the commute and have published stories and essays on a variety of topics. I'm currently writing a full length novel of historical fiction (see Work in Progress).
When not writing or in clinic, you'll likely find me out on the trails with my content editor, partner in crime and wife Lina, planning the next plot twist or adventure.
Work in Progress
The Venetian Ghetto, 1630
To pay off a gambling debt, Solomon Zarfati, a brilliant but troubled Jewish physician, must tend to an injured Turk in the back room of a brothel.
What follows is a tale of ruin and redemption, deception and revelation, that takes the reader from the tenements of the Venetian ghetto to the underworld of Constantinople.
